Our eldest son has been involved with the RTC squad now for 4 years and has always throughly enjoyed it. The standard is at a good competitive level but an element of fun is always still maintained. Our youngest son also attends the training sessions and has come on leaps and bounds over the last 12 months as well.
Also a special shout out to the goalkeeping coach, Kryz, who is amazing at developing the specialised position players who so often get forgotten about at other clubs.
They have formed closed friendships with his teammates as have with a number of the other parents.
The club is a run more of a family community rather than just a football club.

Our experience with Oxfordshire RTC has been excellent over the past four years, with both of our boys being involved during that time.
They originally joined because they wanted to play more football and were seeking a challenge in addition to playing for mixed ability grassroots sides. They have really enjoyed working with some great coaches and have made some good friends.
As members of the squads, they have played regular JPL football, had opportunities to test themselves against professional academies and taken part in fantastic tours to Belgium and Holland, which provided invaluable experiences both on and off the pitch.
The club offers a genuinely positive environment, with a focus on team work and player development. This approach has helped both boys develop their football skills but also grow in confidence.
Our eldest son has recently signed for an academy club following a showcase game organised through the RTC, which is a real testament to the quality of coaching, exposure, and development opportunities the programme provides.
Our youngest son has also thrived within the RTC pathway, being involved in the Allstars programme, which has led to incredible tour opportunities to Juventus, Marseille, and Real Madrid.

As a parent, I’ve been really impressed with the impact Oxfordshire RTC has had on my son.
The coaching is high quality and consistent, and it’s clear the focus is on developing players properly, not just short-term results. He has grown massively in confidence and game understanding, particularly around his positioning and decision-making.
What I value most is the guidance and standards the coaches set. They challenge the players while also supporting them, which has helped him mature both as a footballer and as a young person.
The environment is competitive but positive, and the friendships he’s built have been a big part of his enjoyment and motivation.
Seeing how happy and committed he is says everything. He looks forward to every session, talks about what he’s learned, and takes real pride in representing Oxfordshire RTC.
As a parent, that reassurance means a lot, and we’re genuinely delighted with his progress.

When I first joined Oxfordshire RTC I was a bit nervous because the level was high, but I settled in quickly. The coaching is really good and every session challenges you to improve. As a winger, RTC has helped me understand the game better, especially my positioning and movement when I’m off the ball.
The coaches explain things clearly and give feedback that actually helps, so you know what to work on. Training is competitive but positive, and everyone pushes each other to get better. I’ve made some really good friends and enjoy being part of the group.
Oxfordshire RTC has helped me grow in confidence and take more responsibility as a player. I’m proud to be part of Oxfordshire RTC and excited to keep developing.
