Development Centres
High-quality development with clear progression opportunities
Oxfordshire RTC Development Centres (Development Squads) provide a high-quality training and games programme for players who are not currently part of our JPL squads, or for those seeking additional training alongside their existing football commitments. The programme is designed to support continued development within a positive, structured and aspirational environment.
Players have the option to train once or twice per week, depending on their individual needs and availability, and will take part in 8–10 games per season. Fixtures are typically scheduled on weekday evenings and during school half-terms, providing competitive opportunities that complement training and support progression within the RTC pathway.
Development Centres and Squads focus on individual improvement, confidence and game understanding, ensuring players remain challenged, supported and motivated as they continue their football journey.
